LocalRentify exists for one simple reason: most things we own sit unused most of the time. A camera used twice a year, a drill needed for one weekend, a mandap setup rented for a single wedding — buying all of it outright doesn't make sense when someone nearby already owns it and would happily rent it out.
We're building a rental marketplace focused specifically on India — starting with vehicles, electronics, furniture, construction tools, party and wedding equipment, sports gear, and home appliances. Every listing goes through a review before it goes live, and owners can be phone-verified so renters know exactly who they're dealing with.
In our early days, our team personally coordinates between renters and owners to make sure every rental goes smoothly — before this becomes a larger, more automated platform.
